Nopp’s A/C Shop opened in March 2005. When its owner retired in October 2024, Chris, Travis, and Drew took over and renamed it Community Mechanical. Still local. Still family-owned.

The owner of Nopp’s A/C Shop retires. In October, new owners Chris, Travis, and Drew take over and rename the company Community Mechanical, to be a long-term part of the community it serves.

We show you what we found before we fix anything. You get the price first, and options when there are options.
- The office confirms a window and texts when the technician is on the way
- Common parts are on the truck, so many repairs are done on the first visit

Trained on the equipment we install
We use the best equipment to get the job done at the best price. For most jobs, we believe that’s Trane for split systems and Mitsubishi Electric for mini-splits.
Mitsubishi Electric Diamond ContractorMitsubishi Electric’s multi-stage, in-depth training keeps Diamond Contractors current on its equipment, new technology, and installation practices.
Systems we install in single-family homes can qualify for a Mitsubishi Electric warranty of up to 12 years when registered within 90 days.
A 10-year labor warranty on every replacementMost systems from other companies come with a 10-year equipment warranty that covers parts, not labor, so a breakdown can still mean a large bill. Not with Community Mechanical. Every system replacement includes a 10-year labor warranty through JB Warranties, so a repair down the road doesn’t become a surprise bill.

Book online, call, or text. You get the price before any work starts.
Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM. On-call nights and weekends are guaranteed Memorial Day through September 30. The rest of the year, call anyway: technicians are often available, and we run on-call for extreme weather.
