AC repair & replacement in Dallas–Fort Worth
When the house won’t cool, we find the real problem, price it before we touch anything, and fix it. If replacing makes more sense, we show you both numbers and you decide.

How an AC repair visit works
Call, text, or book online. The office confirms an arrival window and texts you when the technician is on the way.
The technician diagnoses the system and finds the real problem, not just the symptom. Before any work starts, you get the price. When there’s more than one way to fix it, you get the options.
Many repairs are done on the first visit, because we carry common parts on the truck.
Common reasons we get called
- The system runs but blows warm air
- The outdoor unit won’t start, or hums and stops
- One floor stays hot while the rest of the house is fine
- Water around the indoor unit or a clogged drain line
- The system keeps tripping the breaker
Repair or replace? We price both.
A repair usually makes sense on a younger, maintained system. Replacement starts to make sense when the repairs stack up. When it’s close, we price both so you can compare real numbers.
Usually repair
- The system is fairly young and maintained
- The repair is a small share of a new system
- It keeps the house comfortable otherwise
Consider replacing
- It’s older and the repairs keep coming
- Phased-out refrigerant, or it can’t keep up in July
- You want lower bills and even temperatures
When we replace a system
A replacement is sized for the house, not copied from the old unit. For most jobs that means Trane equipment, and we’re a Trane Comfort Specialist, a designation earned with extra factory training. The old equipment is hauled away.

Every system replacement includes a 10-year labor warranty through JB Warranties. There’s no deductible, it covers repairs for the life of the plan, and it transfers free if you sell your home.
Community Club members get 10% off full system replacements, not just repairs.
Financing: 0% APR for up to 18 months through Hearth on qualifying projects, subject to credit approval.
What customers say about AC repair
Our upstairs unit would not come on and it was 94 degrees upstairs in our game room… Within a few minutes he found the problem and within 1.5 hours grandkids were back upstairs, in the cool, shooting pool.
Of course it broke Saturday evening, the communication through text was almost immediate… My service tech, Elliott, was awesome! He arrived exactly when he said he would, had the part on hand, gave me the price for the repair and finished the work quickly.
Paul, the technician, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what was going on with my system and never made me feel pressured into unnecessary work.
I had a 18 yr old unit that I was pretty much on borrowed time… They provided a solution to even out temperatures in multiple rooms on the 2nd floor, provided a fair estimate, and completed the installation on schedule.
Community Club: $169 a year per system
Spring and fall tune-ups, 10% off parts, repairs, and full replacements, and reminders by text.
Questions we get
Do you tell me the price before you start?
Yes. The technician diagnoses the system and prices the repair before any work starts. When there are options, you see them.
Can you fix it on the first visit?
Often, yes. We carry common parts on the truck, so many repairs are finished the same visit.
Should I repair or replace my AC?
A repair usually makes sense on a younger, maintained system. Replacement starts to make sense when an older system keeps needing repairs, uses a phased-out refrigerant, or can’t keep up in July. When it’s close, we price both and you decide.
What equipment do you install?
We use the best equipment for the job at the best price. For most jobs, we believe that’s Trane for split systems and Mitsubishi Electric for mini-splits. We’re a Trane Comfort Specialist and a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor, and both take extra training to earn.
Do you offer financing on a new system?
0% APR for up to 18 months through Hearth on qualifying projects, subject to credit approval.
Do you work nights and weekends?
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. On-call technicians for nights and weekends are guaranteed from Memorial Day through September 30.
The rest of the year, call anyway. Technicians are often available, and we run on-call during extreme weather.
